Taken is an action packed story about a retired CIA agent who travels across Europe to save his teenage daughter who has been kidnapped by sex traffickers. The movie has a Hollywood ending with the traffickers getting the justice they deserve and Liam Neeson successfully rescuing his daughter who seems to suffer no lasting trauma from her experience. The film was released in 2008 and grossed nearly US$150 million.
